Walk-ins are welcome! We encourage customers to make a reservation prior to their arrival to ensure we can accommodate their request. We allow a maximum of 10 guests per hour in our cat lounges. You do not need a reservation to order food & drink on the cafe side.
All ages are welcome to visit our cat lounges! Children 12 & under are required to have a supervising adult present. All walking individuals (including young children) are required to pay admission. Infant in carriers do not require admission.
Cat lounge admission is $15 (plus tax) per person for 50 minutes. This fee covers care for our cats & our ongoing rescue here on Oahu.
While all the cats are adoptable, you are not required to adopt. You are welcome to play, snuggle & enjoy their company during your visit!
All adopters must complete our Adoption Application. You may fill this out before you arrive or during your Toe Beans visit. When you receive approval, an adoption fee of $150 (cats 6 months & younger) will be required. Once paid, you may take your new fur baby home! Please be advised, you need a carrier for transportation. There are several carrier options for purchase at Toe Beans or you’re welcome to bring your own. If you’re unable to take your new kitty home same day, we’re happy to arrange pick-up at a later date.
The adoption fee covers vaccinations, microchip, spay/nueter & any other previous care. All our animals come with a medical history sheet to show where & when they were rescued, as well as all the vaccinations, etc.
Yes, you are able to adopt from our cafe even if your home is outside the state of Hawaii. Read below for required steps; Toe Beans staff will assist you throughout this process.
1. Health Certificate (additional fees apply): A Health Certificate provided by a licensed veterinarian is required within 10 days of your flight home. This certificate ensures that the animal is healthy and fit to fly.
2. Rabies Vaccination (additional fees apply): If you are flying your adopted pet out of Hawaii, a Rabies Vaccination is required for pets of appropriate age.
3. Air Kennel for Transport: An appropriate air kennel is required for transporting the animal. The kennel should provide enough space for the animal to stand up and turn around comfortably and should have secure metal hardware for shipping.
4. Flight Options: Different airlines have specific restrictions and availability for transporting animals. The shipping methods, such as in-cabin, as checked baggage, or as cargo, may vary depending on the airline chosen. It is recommended to contact the suggested airlines listed to inquire about the specific options and restrictions for flying with pets. Suggested airlines are American Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Air Canada, Hawaiian Airlines, United Airlines, and Delta Airlines
All cats are rescued from the streets of Oahu, HI. Our organization, KAT Charities, follows the philosophy of TNR or Trap, Neuter (or Spay) and Return, to control the feral cat population. If we encounter a cat that is either young, friendly, or sick, we will pull them to rehabilitate and then they are put up for adoption through Toe Beans & Dreams Cafe.
Unfortunately, we do not accept owner surrendered animals.
Unfortunately, we do not accept found/rescued animals at our location. Please contact a non-profit animal rescue in your area for assistance.
